Private Tours are available to families who would like to visit the school and enjoy a private guided tour by the Director of Admissions, during a normal school day. The tour lasts, approximately one hour with time afterward to have your questions answered and to receive an information packet full of all the necessary items to apply for admission to CHA. Open Houses are held in January and February. We encourage prospective parents and students to join us during the evening hours to meet teachers, members of our school board, our head administrator and tour our campus. The dates for these open houses will be posted on this site towards the end of the year, so keep checking back, or call us for a private tour if you wish. (See Private Tours above)
A Shadow Day is a special opportunity for a student to experience a full or half-day of classes, lunch and activities, paired with a current student of the same age. Students in kindergarten thru 4th grade often find a morning shadow time lunch and recess to be a sufficient amount of time to get a good idea of what school life at CHA will be like.Thegoal of shadow days is to allow time for students to gain a sense of what Chapel Hill is all about before their first full day as a student.To arrange for a shadow day for your student, please contact the Admissions Office by calling 952-949-9014 ext. 118 or by email.
