As a ministry to Christian families, Chapel Hill Academy requires at least one parent to have entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to be in agreement with the school's Statement of Faith. Chapel Hill Academy does not discriminate as to race, color, national or ethnic origin. Chapel Hill Academy's distinctively Christian program and school atmosphere is maintained by carefully choosing from among applications received, those families/students who will be blessed by the school's influence and who will in return be a blessing to other school families/students.
Admissions Procedure
Interested family:
- Receives Enrollment Information Packet through the mail or on the school website
- Tours the facility with Director of Admissions.
- Submits completed Student Application form and application fee
- CHA adds prospective student's name to the prospective student list for the appropriate grade/year (registrations are accepted through the year)
- CHA administers entrance tests:
- Gesell Development Readiness Test – Kindergarteners
- Placement Tests – grades 1-8 (generally administered by a teacher for the student's current grade level)
- CHA requests school records of the previous school attended
- CHA adds teacher & pastor recommendations (junior high students only) to the Admissions File as they are received.
- CHA schedules new parent interview with the Head Administrator and a current parent - an opportunity to:
- Discuss why Christian education is important to you
- Share how you came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior – Chapel Hill Academy is a ministry to Christian families, where at least one parent has entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Discuss your child's educational needs and whether CHA will be able to meet parental expectations.
- Discuss Chapel Hill Academy's expectations for parents.
- Ask questions of a current CHA parent.

Acceptance by CHA is considered upon completion of these steps. Parents are notified in writing regarding whether or not their application for enrollment has been approved.
Priority for enrollment is determined in the following order:
Current school family
Length of attendance at another Christian school
- Date application is received (Please note: Applications received on or after August 15 will not be processed until September 15 of each year)
