Welcome to Chapel Hill Academy!
Thank you for your interest in our school! It is a privilege to share why CHA is so unique and well-suited for families who are looking for a Christ-centered
school community with a commitment to academic excellence. Our mission is to partner with parents and work together for the benefit of each individual child. Our primary focus is to bring the Gospel to our students so that they may reach the decision to enter a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
At Chapel Hill Academy, perhaps the first thing one will notice is our loving staff, each of whom has been called to ministry to serve children and families. With an average of over 15 years of classroom experience, our teaching staff is a body of highly trained, exceptional educators who provide a nurturing learning environment with high-level instruction geared for 21st century learners.
We are committed to providing an exemplary education in a safe, Christian atmosphere, an atmosphere that supports family values and helps develop strong, Christian character in our students. We believe in educating the whole child by providing enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom such as band, academic clubs and a variety of athletics. Additionally, first-hand learning experiences enhance our curriculum; from local visits to community businesses, environmental camp, flying small airplanes, to a capstone trip to Washington D.C., our students gain perspective of our world that is founded on biblical principles.
Scripture teaches the importance of loving our neighbor; therefore, shepherding our children to develop compassion for others is a key aspect of our mission. Our students have numerous experiences and opportunities related to mission work, service and helping others. Each grade engages in age-appropriate mission projects such as packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child and Feed My Starving Children, or collecting coats and shoes for those in need.
