How does CHA's Financial Aid work?

  • All families (current and new) may apply for Financial Aid to explore options for managing tuition at CHA.
  • All Financial Aid awards will be based on economic need. Aid will continue to be derived from the Financial Aid application process administered by a third party called FACTS.
  • All families are encouraged to apply for Financial Aid if BOTH the following are true (please note, these are guidelines and do not guarantee an award)
  1. The family’s total CHA tuition spent is greater than 10% of gross household income.
  2. The Family’s net worth (assets) is less than $1M.

Annual Renewal of Financial Aid

All Financial Aid awards will be based on economic need.  Aid will continue to be derived from the Financial Aid application process administered by a third party called FACTS.

All applications for Financial Aid for an upcoming school year will not be considered until the previous year’s account has been paid in full. Exceptions may be made by the Head of School for mid-year, unexpected hardships.

Financial Aid is granted for one school year and is not automatically renewable. Applications must be submitted each year for consideration.

Adjustments to tuition balances and monthly payments due to Financial Aid will be made directly by the school. Families will be notified of these changes.
