Joining the Chapel Hill Academy family of families is an exciting time!

Step by step, we are here to support you through the admissions process.

We look forward to welcoming you as you become an important part of this incredible community.

The first step in getting to know Chapel Hill Academy is to set up a tour. Please contact our Admissions Team to set up your tour today!

After your tour we invite you to create a TADS account & submit your online Application.

Required Admissions Documents:

Please note: The Required Admissions Documents must be turned into the Office of Admissions or uploaded into your TADS account before scheduling and completing your student’s placement assessment.

To ensure student success, a CHA teacher will administer an academic assessment to each prospective K-8 student.* The assessment is used to help identify readiness, potential academic gaps, and confirm grade-level placement. A member of the Admissions team will contact you to schedule a Placement Assessment upon review of the application.

Assessments typically take 30-45 minutes. Parents are welcome to stay but are not required to. Results are usually available within 48 hours.

*Assessments may be required for Jr. K students depending on age and previous school experience.

It is important to become acquainted with families seeking a partnership in Christian education.  During the enrollment process, new parents meet with the Head of School to share their personal testimony of faith and discuss questions or family information that help us assist families on a deeper level.  A member of the Admissions team will contact you to schedule the Head of School-Parent Interview.

Once the required documents have been received and the Placement Assessment and Head of School-Parent Interview are completed, watch for a Letter of Acceptance sent via the TADS platform.

The Letter of Acceptance will include a link to access the online Tuition and Enrollment Agreement.

Please note, this agreement must be completed before attending the New Family Orientation.

Once the Tuition and Enrollment Agreement is complete, a member of our Admissions team will contact you regarding New Family Orientation.

Please note, CHA hosts a New Family Orientation assembly each August during Back-to-School Night for all new families who enrolled at Chapel Hill Academy prior to the start of the school year. Families that enroll during the school year will receive a personal orientation through the enrollment process.
