Technology Purpose Statement 

In pursuing spiritual maturity and academic excellence, Chapel Hill Academy will carefully guide students to access educational technology tools with discernment and develop age-appropriate skills to supplement learning outcomes.

The EdTech Triangle

CHA has adopted the EdTech Triangle framework as a research-based synthesis of practices, tools, and skills that optimize learning, support wellbeing, and protect against some of technology’s negative outcomes. EdTech can be a powerful tool in the classroom and will be used in line with current research.

CHA Technology Goals for Students 

• Equip students that technology can be a meaningful tool used for Kingdom work. 
• Teach students discernment and the ethical use of technology.  
• Improve the quality of student learning and academic achievement to develop knowledge and skills for the future world of academics and industry. 
• Equip students with technology skills that encourage lifelong learning, community contribution, and positive communication.
